Epicentre recognizes that the primary objective of a 21st century workplace disease risk minimization initiative in Sub-Saharan Africa is most likely to be aimed at the threat of HIV/AIDS. Epicentre has therefore developed its skills and resources to deal primarily with reducing the HIV/Aids risks for modern private sector businesses.
Consideration should be given to the specific risk factors of the workforce, the constraints facing the company, and the needs of the community in which the company operates. In this regard Epicentre has confidence in that its programs will balance its customer’s workplace objective with the needs of all stakeholders.
Epicentre develops customized comprehensive interventions that help companies run cost-effective practical solutions that are not unduly burdensome from either a management or cost perspective. In this regard Epicentre has consolidated its experiences and skills in its HIV/Aids Workplace training programmes.

Other organizational history: Epicentre AIDS Management Foundation, a Section 21 not for profit organisation, was established in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa the "epicentre" of the HIV/AIDS in 1999. Today Epicentre has 3 metropolitan offices in Gauteng, Western Cape and Kwazulu Natal.
Epicentre provides HIV/Aids -Workplace Programs targeted at the private sector in developing countries. Epicentre is a recognised leader in the hands-on implementation of occupational HIV and AIDS Risk Management in Southern Africa.
Epicentre provides practical workplace solutions with a range of options for implementing HIV prevention and treatment programs in support of employers, employees and the communities in which they operate.
One of Epicentre’s core skills is Project Management. Epicentre specializes in supporting large private sector organisations run macro HIV and AIDS Programs at multiple sites.
