Strenthening community responses to AIDS through targeted outreach prevention for vulnerable groups and support services for people with HIV/AIDS.

Description of services provided:
Care, for for the infected community:
- Soup delivery service: free, home made soup delivered to the needy.
- Transportation service: free transportation service for clinical appointment to those who have difficulties to travel by public transport
- Community development: assisting patient group in organizing activities and skills building workshops

Prevention, for vulnerable communities
- Cross border travelers: outreach prevention programs to those travel in/out of China, set up enquiry booth in check-points, education for truck drivers, free condom distribution.
- Men who have sex with men: outreach prevention programs in public cruising areas, free testing service in saunas, free condom and lubricant distribution.
- Sex industry male clients: outreach prevention programs to local sex industry male clients, mobile enquiry booth, free condom distribution.
- Youth at risk of HIV infection: outreach prevention programs to youth (13 - 20 yrs old), safer sex workshops.

Achievements/Publications/Resources:
- AIDS Concern’s MSM outreach prevention program has received international recognition from the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).
- National Focal Point of APCASO (Asia and the Pacific Coalition of AIDS Service Organizations)
