Description of services provided:
We carry out preventive campaigns on HIV/AIDS, maternal, mortality & morbidity, contraceptives, pre- & post test counselling for HIV/AIDS, provision of care & support for PLWAS at the community level.


Organizational History

Year started: 1999
Structure: Headed by the Executive Director, there is the preventive & mobilization unit, care & support unit, community support as well as the youth department which provides skills for out-of-school youths.
Employees/volunteers: 50 volunteers and 12 full-time staff
Working languages: English and Yoruba
Other organizational history: We have recently completed a one year anti-HIV/AIDS campaign & mobilization project in a rural community in southwest Nigeria amongst out-of-school youths who are artisans. The project was sponsored the International Family Health, U.K.


Experience working with the private sector/ references:
Much of our activities have been sponsored by Zoomota Nigeria LTED, a pharmaceutical company, Kemsway Haulage Services.

Other relevant information:
We are willing to collaborate with well meaning private organizations in fighting the scourge of HIV in Nigeria.
